About Columbia Helicopters
Columbia Helicopters was founded by Wes Lematta in 1957. Wes recognized early on that helicopters were capable of more than just moving people. Over the next several decades, Wes and Columbia Helicopters completed missions never before attempted.
Today, Columbia Helicopters owns and operates the largest fleet of heavy-lift tandem rotor helicopters in the world and continues to break barriers in the industry.
