Technical Instructor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- 55% Plans, develops, and conducts technical training programs through multiple mediums including demonstration and hands-on-training for employees. Training programs may include standard, repeatable modules, in addition to customized and new modules for personnel.
- 30% - Ensures training courses meet expectations through regular consultation with management and obtaining information from various sources such as US and foreign regulations.
- 15% - Supports the administration and regulatory compliance of the Training Department.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree desired with vocational teaching experience
- A&P license required, relevant military experience, foreign license or become certificated within 36 months of date of hire
- Experience conducting training in a formal classroom environment with excellent classroom presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to instruct maintenance personnel on aircraft description, operation, and maintenance procedures (CH-46, CH-47)
- Ability to conduct regulatory research from manuals and computer-based resources
- Capable of understanding domestic and foreign regulatory requirements and integrating them into training presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess good organization and time management skills in order to adapt to rapidly-changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic proficiency with projector, and video/digital cameras
- Valid Passport, driver’s license and ability to travel 50+% both foreign and domestic
- Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values
- Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person
