CH-47 Maintenance Technician

Columbia Helicopters, Inc. located 22 mi. south of Portland, OR, has openings for a CH-47 Maintenance Technician.

• Maintain the aircraft to ensure airworthy condition
• All work is performed in a safe and approved manner
• Ensuring that all log books and forms recording the work performed are accurate and are maintained to DA PAM 738-751 and CHI standards
• Gaining access to all portions of aircraft for maintenance and inspection purposes
• Give on the job training to other employees
• Performing system operational checks on customer aircraft
• Assist customer with maintenance test flight checks
• Crawling under, working overhead, and climbing onto the top of the helicopter
• Lifting aircraft components and support equipment
• Travel with assigned team to various regions around the world to assist customers
• Work unsupervised in a team oriented environment

Phase maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, routine maintenance, installation of MWO’s, trouble shooting, perform all aspects of MOC and MTF, and operate specialized test equipment unique to the 47 platform.

• Must have valid Drivers License
• A&P license preferred
• Valid passport
• Able to obtain security clearances as required
• Perform duties of Flight Engineer as required
• Must be able to receive DOT certification if required
• Must have 60 months practical experience on the CH-47 and 36 months as a qualified crew member.
• Travel state wide and overseas required
• References required
